Rendercore, a leader in remote rendering solutions, is proud to announce that we now support the highly requested newest release from Autodesk; Maya 8.0. Maya 8 which now offers 64-bit support has optimized its multithreading and algorithmic capabilities to allow artists to work with incrasingly complex data sets. Other major advancements include enhancements to the API and to the FBX file exchange technology to allow for a more seemless transition between various 3D applications.
To render using Maya 8.0 with Rendercore you must download our latest version of our Renman software. Please download the updated program, version 2.78, here.

- Ability to override viewports with a user-defined renderer, such as a game engine
- Optimized mental ray 3.5 core for superior rendering performance and memory usage

- Support for high dynamic range (HDR) and floating-point images
- Support for interactive viewing of native and custom mental ray shaders
- Improved Autodesk FBX plug-in to provide tighter integration between Maya and applications such as 3ds Max and MotionBuilder
- Interchangeable geometry cache between Maya and 3ds Max, allowing for the exchange of complex data between the two packages
- Export of render layers to Autodesk Toxik software’s database
